Go to Manager for troubled units while in Operations Department. While with Restaurant Developers Corp. I became a manger to go in and fix-up troubled units and then move on to the next. Which led to my advancement within the company and Employee of the Year in 1994.

Designed customized cafes, supporting national expansion of Bear Creek and $250K increase in revenue. Joined small company with minimal design and construction capability or understanding of code requirements. Created drawings; established design, equipment and construction standards. Added 17 full service cafes, 10 coffee carts, and 10 modular units in two years, up from two units in prior year.

Led major remodeling project for Restaurant Developers, enhancing image and boosting sales $1.5M. Developed practical approach to modify buildings and interiors for 60+ stores, allowing full operation during construction period. Specified materials and equipment, and managed labor.

Negotiated vendor contract, saving $360K annually with volume discounts at Restaurant Developers. Company adding two stores per month nationally and needed consistent, cost effective pricing on store equipment packages.
