As an Operating Engineer with over fifteen years of experience my responsibilities covered the day to day operations and maintenance needs over a wide range of sites, and industries spread throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area. I have always felt a need to learn as much as possible about any place I work. I feel I have above average customer service skills. I have strived to further my knowledge by returning to school with a concentration in the Occupational Safety and Health Field.
Duties were varied and included.
• Responding to service request generated by lease holders, management and leasing teams of the sites.
• Implemented and populated CMMS systems, as companies changed and new systems were brought online.
• Maintained site security systems, making the required changes called for as personnel changed.
• Responded to after hour calls, whether they were physical equipment failures, alarms concerning life and safety systems, and/or security systems.
• Scheduled, all reoccurring inspections required by the various controlling agencies, such as annual fire alarm testing, safety inspections by insurance carriers, and maintained required records of these inspections.
• Coordinated with outside vendors and contractors in carrying out their duties, and ensured that they met and followed all mandated protocols when on site.
• Participated in the due diligence process and transition as the property ownership and management changed.

• High and Low pressure Chiller, Cooling Tower systems from 40 to 620 tons.

• Ice makers, steamers, walk-ins and reach-in units used in a cafeteria setting.
• Fire Alarm, fire suppression systems, and smoke control and evacuations systems.
• Testing and servicing of back-up power supply systems such as generators and UPS.
