Lead designer of scientific instruments for biomedical and chemical research: stimulators, controllers, meters of various kind, etc. Designed Apollo4000 NO analyzer with 10 fA noise floor and 100 dB dynamic range; DS8000 stimulator based on Altera Flex10K FPGA. Developed a common I/O platform based on Freescale 56F826 DSP.

* 1995-1996, 1997-2000. Design Engineer /Sr. Engineer/Manager of R&D. Baker Electronics Inc. Sarasota, FL. (acquired by Honeywell in 2001).

Designed and built various devices used in cockpit panels and cabin management systems (CMS). Personally designed a new class of cabin amplifiers. Designed sophisticated modular 1000W power amplifier and D-class amplifiers. Leading hardware designer of TI DSP based Digital Audio Cockpit Panel and Motorola PowerPC based Multiplexed CMS - audio/video/control network for aircraft cabin.

Responsible for implementation and testing of new designs in emerging market group. Personally invented and built new magnetostrictive effect based displacement sensors.

Designed and built a system for automated projecting imagesetting N70-I used in prepress process in printing industry. Personally designed a proprietary sophisticated PC interface the system based on.

Designed measurement systems based on magnetostrictive effect. Built several versions of liquid level probe with a very accurate temperature measurement. Also designed various PC interface modules.

1984. Project Manager. Designed and built a displacement transducer with current and digital outputs for pressure measurement based on a patented cyclic voltage-current regulator. Also designed 4.5 digit ADC.

1985. Designed a device for solving unlinear differential equations with partial derivatives. Responsible for implementation and testing of an analog signal processor.

1986-1987. Project Manager. Designed and built an analog-digital spectrum analyzer for car engine noise analysis. Built digital sine wave generator, digital frequency multiplier, analog digital modulator, switching coordinate system transformer. Also involved in the government-sponsored design of a RF paging system for local military.

1987-1989. Designed a digital spectrum analyzer based on fast Fourier transform for car engine noise analysis. Responsible for implementation and testing of a color CRT based monitor, switching AC power supply, front-end interface, etc. The design was based on the embedded PDP11 computer.

1979-1990. A private company founder and owner. Designed and built different proprietary electronic musical devices: power amplifiers, equalizers, flangers, phasers, distorters, compressors, reverberators, octave multiplexers, drum synthesizers, etc.

* 1972-1983. Research Engineer. R&D division, Kuibyshev Institute of Technology, USSR.

A member of the team designing digital control system for one-dimensional recording based on solution of a proprietary unlinear differential equation for tracer motion of the linear recording device. Personally responsible for the implementation and testing of a control unit of brushless dc servomotor, code band signal conditioner and computer interface. More than dozen patents were granted as the result of this research.

1981. Project Manager. Designed and built a measurement device for testing potentiometric and capacitive sensors. Implemented patented analog-to-digital converter, switching power supply, etc.

1981-1982. Project Manager. Designed and built analog-digital spectrum analyzer based on direct Fourier transforms. Designed patented digital sine wave generator, digital frequency multiplier, analog-digital modulator, etc.

1983. A member of the team designing analog-digital device for measurement of random signal characteristics. Personally responsible for implementation and testing of a patented bucked brigade device (BBD) based storage.

1976-1978. A member of the team designing analog-digital spectrum analyzer based on Walsh-Fourier transform that meant to be used for vibration testing of electronic equipment. Personally designed and built digital functional oscillator, digital frequency multiplier, pulse modulator, coordinate system transformer, etc. Few patents were granted.

1972-1976. A member of the team designing data communication system employing binary orthogonal signals on the basis of synchronous serial communication. Personally designed and built a digital functional oscillator, coder and interface.
