CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Master’s in Chemical engineering, with overall 2 years of experience as commissioning engineer with Air Liquide India and 2 years’ experience in Research with University of Dayton Research Institute, looking for a full time/contract position in chemical and affiliated industries. Willing to travel 100 % and will available from January 25th 2012.

Summary:

• Masters in chemical engineering: course work of thermodynamics, mass transfer, heat transfer and strength of materials

• Two years of experience as commissioning engineer with Air Liquide, India in cryogenic air separation plants

• Capability to read and interpret the process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)

Process Engineer

Commissioning Engineer/ Process Engineer Hyderabad. India (07/2006 to 07/2008)

Serve as commissioning engineer with Air Liquide, India. Played the role of commissioning engineer in execution of 3 projects (2 national projects and 1 international project) in cryogenic process. Learned and implemented the techniques for optimization and improvement of plant. Pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and trouble shooting of plants is the primary responsibility of the commissioning engineer

• Development of Operating & Maintenance Manual of Air Separation plant.

QATAR GAS II PROJECT – CTJV (Chiyoda and Technip joint venture), Doha, QATAR

• First international project executed as commissioning engineer

• Acted as part time instrumentation engineer in completing of project

Responsible for designing and execution of experiments conducted on daily basis at University of Dayton research institute. Worked on 2 pilot scale reactors for growing of algae

• Research of different types of reactors, such as 100ml reactor (conical flask), 20liters (cylindrical bottle), 200 liters (cylindrical tanks), 3800 liters (PBR-Photo- bioreactor) for algae growth.

• Fixing the carbon-dioxide in algae.

• Tracking the growth of algae by measuring the absorbance using the spectrometer.

• Determine out the most economical method for Harvesting of algae, such as spin dryer, centrifuge.
