PROJECTS:-

Implementation of STBC- Generated Space time block codes and performance was compared between different

MIMO schemes.

Wireshark – This project was more of an experiment to show how the internet works using the Wireshark software.

Observed how different packets were received when internet was connected, when a site was opened and when

internet gets disconnected. Inner view of the internetwork and its different types of packets was learnt.

Designing a Fixed WLAN- Realized a physical layer simulation reference system with channel encoding using

MLSE and Minimum distance decision rule.

Project of RSN (Random Signals and Noise)- Developed programs, using Matlab, to form histogram of images

under different conditions and recreated images using three predictors.

Wireless Channel Capacity Analysis- Lead the project that involved fading and static channels and analysis of

power allocation for optimizing channel usage.

Estimating Channel using Pilot tones- Carried out this project on the channel estimation using Pilot tones.

Simulation of MIMO- Designed a MIMO wireless communication system implementing Alamouti Code.

Research Work and Presentation:-

Convergence of Wired and Wireless N/Ws – Accomplished the analysis of Fixed Mobile Convergence, its drivers

and barriers; also studied the key enabler, IP Multimedia Subsystem.

Virtual Private Network – Detailed study was performed about VPN and a live demonstration between serverclient

communication was performed.

Done research work on various other topics – IPTV, VoIP and WiFi.
