Reported to Senior VP – Operations. Responsible for holding company and Affiliate companies’ human resources activity for a 360-employee operation (27 locations). Managed a four-person department covering recruitment, benefits, and payroll.
Developed company performance management system including position descriptions, evaluation of internal equity and market classification/competitiveness, and creation of a new performance appraisal document and process improving consistency of evaluations, the quality of manager-employee communication and improved employee development.
Implemented behavior-based interview questions/guides for recruitment process of all candidate position interviews resulting in a 20% reduction in turnover in entry level non-exempt positions.
Spearheaded creation of internal “Resource Guide” resulting in an internal document identifying appropriate contact for answers to questions that were being generated internally or by external customers improving customer responsiveness.
