• Planned and implemented the electronic documentation system used to create and store documents in a paperless

environment. This created a company wide access to the latest revision documents, and their change histories,

which was a major time and cost savings to the company.

• System Administrator of the electronic change control system that created Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) with

required Change Control Board (CCB) on line signatures. This included Product Life Management (PLM) for

individual documents including paperless archive and history files.

• Responsible for writing department procedures in compliance with ISO-9001 for Engineering Change Control,

Document Control, and Special Products Requests. We passed 12 consecutive ISO audits using these procedures.

• ECO Analyst responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s). Created

required rework instructions, and wrote the part and assembly dispositions. I also cross checked the drawing

revisions and dates to insure all affected documents were changed prior to the (ECO’s) release. This was a major

time savings to the company for future tracking purposes when questions would arise about when a change had been

implemented in the field.

• Organized and managed project milestones in pc design, drafting, assembly drawings, and bill of material

creation. Assigned all required product and standard part numbers entering the data in to the People Soft

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

• Created a Specification Control Drawing (SCD) system using part data from the internet as a hyper linking tool

for documenting standard off the shelf parts which saved many hours of manual scanning.

• Created the staffed the Electrical Drafting group from scratch which included Printed Circuit Board Designers and

Electrical Drafting. Projects were designed and documented from concept to production.

• OEM contracts for the broadcast group known as (The Voice of America).

• Contracts for the US Military Department of defense (DOD) using military standards and requirements.
