Working as a Deployment Team Leader contractor for NASA in the HP/ACES Project Agency Consolidated End-User Services.

• Deploy new PC and peripherals, transfer user account profiles and data for NASA personnel.

• Map systems, network drives and peripherals to ensure operational effectiveness.

• Work with client/customer to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

• Manage day-to-day customer contact to determine and/or resolve complex problems with product and service lines.

• Prepare reports documenting customer problems/complaints and procedures for correcting them.

• Coordinate with team members to meet deployment and setup deadlines for over 6000 PCs and peripherals for NASA locations across Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Patrick Air Force Base.

Information Systems Technician

Responsible for the maintenance / support of servers, routers, and computers for the Brevard County Fire and Rescue Organization. Included Help Desk support of Fire Stations and Administrative offices within the county system.

• Technical and computer support to Brevard County Fire Rescue administrative offices, including all Fire and Rescue stations throughout the county.

• Worked closely with client/customer to identify, troubleshoot and resolve systems issues.

• Maintained records on the status of hardware repairs and the completion of production orders.

• Provided 8-Member help desk team Level II/III technical support to resolve advance, escalated issues for 500 end users.

• In addition to Help Desk support using Layton’s online system Service Desk, responsibilities included site visits for the repair of computer equipment, installation of new software, and mapping of shared drives at 35 remote Fire and Rescue locations.

• Maintained Cisco Routers at the remote stations including replacement, configuration, and repairs of the Cisco 1600 series routers .

• Participated in two major router upgrades at the Rockledge administrative facility (Timothy J. Mills Fire Rescue Center) including the necessary configuration changes at all remote Fire and Rescue locations in Brevard county.

• Participated in the creation of tutorials for a web based computer generated ticket Layton Service Desk System allowing end users to enter work order tickets electronically to report issues, also for the remote control and maintenance of customer computers.

Electronic Technician II

Performed repair and testing of products manufactured by Racal Datacom down to the component level. Proficient with the use of oscilloscopes and volt meters used for the testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies. Developed thorough knowledge of electronics manufacturing methods.
