School of Infantry– Squad Leader; In charge of 30 marines, insuring that they were all on time and properly equipped for formation and training missions.
Deployment 1– Point man/ Breach man: Navigated over 200 foot patrols in Ramadi, Iraq. Stood post at Observation Position Gov. Center. Held security for political and economic events in Ramadi, Iraq. Held overwatch on I.E.D’s (Improvised Explosive Devices). Involved in the fortification of four observation posts. Radio operator throughout 50 patrols. Involved in the training and supervising the Iraqi police and military.
Deployment 2– Fire Team Leader; in charge of three marine corp. infantry-men and their equipment. Lead navigator on a mobile unit for over 300 mobile patrols in the areas of Hit, Al-Qu’im, and Al Assad, Iraq. In Charge of insuring that the squads vehicles were prepped and ready for mobile patrols. Held security on Forward Operating Base Yubati, Iraq. Held security for political events in Al-Qu’im, Iraq. Involved in the Demilitarization of two forward operating bases, train station and Yubati.
Pre and post-deployment-Involved in training new marine corp. infantry men for their upcoming deployment, which would involve anything from setting up training events to giving classes on the following subjects: close quarters combat, machine gun knowledge, rules of engagement, formation tactics, immediate action drills, casualty evacuation operations, maintenance and operations of military vehicles and improvised explosive device knowledge and procedures.
Robinson Roofing– June 2010 to August 2010
Gunner/Roofer; The deconstruction and removal of the old roof. Running the nail gun emplacing the new shingles. Temporary manager for 2-3 weeks while the owner was unavailable for work.
