Run, manage and supervise a 20 person team responsible for supporting 75 operating print companies around the nation and maintaining all systems in the company’s data center through a 9-person help desk and 11 network and systems engineers 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
• Created and implemented a technology troubleshooting training program, ensuring the print companies have a first line of defense at the company level, ultimately reducing dependency on the help desk
• Within the first month, reduced the number of old trouble-tickets by 20% and created an environment where the team members are empowered and rewarded for providing quick resolutions to customers

Continental Airlines (CO) 01/08 to 09/11

• Planned and implemented CO’s Business Continuity Plan during Hurricane Ike (Sept. 08) where we relocated approximately 345 people to different hotels and migrated critical systems to CO’s alternate work facility in Montgomery, TX, for three days
• Wrote and presented CO’s data center decision strategy for determining system placement in one of four data centers, based on definitions of Business Continuity application tier levels
• Created and supervised an inventory management system for all infrastructure refresh activity including a $1.7 million-dollar inventory at all times with a formal process to access and track all equipment
• Co-sponsored the formation and ongoing leadership of an enterprise systems and network capacity planning team to manage infrastructure assignment and space allocation within the data centers
