Job Summary

• Experienced in developing and implementing, technical and project specific procedures, ITP, method statements and other quality management system procedures to international codes and standards. Familiar with hazardous area classifications.

• Engineering and maintenance of Yokogawa CS3000 and Foundation Field Bus system. Knowledge of Rockwell Automation system. Familiar in configuration of console mounted instruments like Electronic Controller (Yokogawa, ABB etc.), Recorders (ABB, Foxboro), and Oil in Water Analyzer etc.

• Fully conversant with logic philosophies for various control system, ESD system, fire & gas system and HSSD system etc. Experienced in LV electrical system and interfaces. Carried out period check of trip loops and status confirmation, simulation & verification in DCS, PLC and SCADA system. Cause & Effect matrix verification. Perform SAT with Vendor.

• Preparation of instrument loop package, documentation of loop tested and updating of instrument database (Microsoft access) and maintaining up to date documentation.

• Hands on experience in calibration equipment. Maintenance and calibration of various types of control valves (Fisher, ABB, Yamatake/IL, Dresser Masoneilan, Flowserve/Valtek etc.), calibration and maintenance of pneumatic and electronic transmitters (Yokogawa, Rosemount, Foxboro, Honeywell, ABB etc.), sensors, indicators, switches, gauges, smart positioners, ON/OFF valve, safety valve, tank gauging systems and other field and panel mounted instruments.

• Knowledge of testing motor, transformer, circuit breaker, switchgear, current & potential transformer. Testing of switch gears panel, MCC, PCC, MDB, LCP, LP, UPS, bus bar, feeder, Energy meter, VM, AM, and different type of switches etc. Inspection and supervision of installation and testing of earth pit, different type of lighting pole. Inspection and testing of DOL Starter, Star Delta Starter. Knowledge of Hi-pot testing of cable.

• Make verification for the RFI submitted by the contractor, work to be inspected is complete and in compliance with the Engineering Standard & Material shall conform to all applicable requirements standard. Verifying and reviewing the construction drawings covering ISS, P&ID, ILD, SLD, Location Drawing, Hook-Up Drawing, Typical Drawing and Wiring Details etc. Preparation and submitting of red line mark-ups/ as-built drawings.

• Issuing the systematically Non-conformity reports and Discrepancy reports, checking that the settlement of non-conformities is in accordance with the site requirements.

• Inspection and supervision for the installation of control panel. Knowledge of installation of Fire & Gas System such as IR/UV Flame detector, Flammable/Toxic gas detector, Manual call point, Fire Detection System, PAGA system in the field such as Push Button, Horn & Beacon and Grounding System etc.

• Preparation of punch list, follow up of rework and involvement of modification activities. Supervising activities like cable laying, termination, meggering and testing, impulse piping, tubing and instrument air lines, leak testing and pressure testing.

• Inspection and supervision of fabrication & installation of cable tray works, conduiting works, frames and supports, instrument extensions. Leading a team of foremen and technicians, briefing them of their daily work and monitoring the progress at closer level.

• Communicating and forwarding the data of weekly progress and daily progress to the client. Attending the construction meeting, technical discussion and planning for further assignments in hand.
