Dependability is one of my most valuable attributes. I would be an asset for your organization because I have for years in the past been depended on. I believe in doing good work while being respectful, and courteous.
Responsibility is another valuable attribute. Over the years, I have been given many security codes, worked alone with sensitive surroundings with never a question or a negative end result.
Common sense is another equally important attribute. If something is not broke don’t fix it. This can be very true in many fields including construction.
2007-Present Painter, Carpenter, Dry wall, L.R. Kolb Construction
I can be given instructions or plans follow them out successfully with no supervision, but I can do what I am instructed to do as well. I work very well with others trying only to complete the task at hand. I have completed complex multi phase work tasks on time.
2006-Present Historic Remodel work all phases, First United Methodist Church
I have completed large scale projects with out interference to the busy church schedule and with out a single complaint from Church elders and members. The preschool center is where a safety conscious worker was very important. Again project completed without interruption or complaints.
2001-2006 Dry wall, Painter Supervisor/worker, Simm’s Construction
I was given a time line for hanging the dry wall, getting it taped in, bedded and sanded, primed, and sanded, working in coordination with trim crew when this was done and trim crew moved on, I stayed punch listed job then prepped and painted it to contractor specifications.
