Job Profile & Responsibilities

- Responsible for Installation, Commissioning & trouble-shooting of faults in RAN (RNC, Node B, Carrier Upgrade etc.) and Huawei GSM network, Huawei CDMA network.

- 24 X 7 Emergency Support for Fault Management Team and Field Engineers on need basis.

- Operations & Maintenance of Network Elements like Huawei RNC-BTS’s through NMS, LMT.

- Operations & Maintenance of Network Elements like Huawei M2000 which is NMS server

- Responsible for KPI improvement through RF and RAN domain analysis.

- Responsible for interacting with vendors on escalated issues, supporting vendors in order to get required solution.

- Responsible for the efficient utilization of the Network Resources to provide better service to the customer and make revenue for the organization.

- Supporting Field for the new cell sites integration, carrier upgrade, BTS Swap outs and/or any other technical support

- Analyze Traffic and suggest ways to improve the performance by optimizing the parameters of particular BTS.

- Preparation and circulation of Root Cause Analysis Reports for Critical Events.

- Responsible for Carrying out First Office Application of New Software Patches / Upgrades in RNC’s & BTS’s in association with Vendor, and keeping track of performance post upload of SW.

- Testing & Validation and comprehensive analysis on roll-out implications of new releases, features and fixes.

- Planning the up gradation of the different components of network as per the utilization and the capacity of the N/W.

- Tapping new avenues for Optimization of network resources & improvement of network.

- Fast learning of new technologies and features & requirements of existing network.

- Working as Field Engineer for Operation and Maintenance of over 300 Cell sites in Cochin.

- Planning and coordinating projects for rollouts from site survey till installation and commissioning of cell sites.

- Working in 15 GHz Microwave equipments such as DMC, XP4, ECLIPSE and FLEXI HOPPER.

- Working in CERAGON STM MW link and Micro SDM ECI MUX (installation, commissioning and troubleshooting) - Troubleshooting & Maintenance of Nokia Ultra site Edge BTS as well as Metro BTS and Flexi BTS

- E1 Routing and Patching, Reparenting from BSC locations.
