Project Description:
The ML/TF Portfolio Analyzer is an integrated web-based tool for conducting account-specific data retrieval and analysis of customer demographic and specific transaction information for the purpose of improving Business’ ability to detect and report higher risk potential money laundering or terrorist financing activity flowing through JPMC.
The Portfolio Analyzer seeks to provide experienced AML subject matter experts with the ability to quickly and effectively differentiate higher risk potential ML/TF activity from lower risk ML/TF activity through user-defined electronic queries that:
• Target customer and transaction traits indicative of specific ML/TF AML typologies (a/k/a “ML/TF Typology Search”);
• Identify and filter out customers and accounts with lower ML/TF risk (“Noise Reduction”); and/or
• Develop and test working hypotheses to identify potential emerging or previously unknown typologies (“ML/TF Typology Model Building”).

The application was meant to track alerts generated by source system SONAR. The front end of the application used .NET and the backend population of data to MSSQL was done through Abinitio. The main task for the Abinitio was to build utility graphs and do performance tuning.

Project Description:
The objective of the project is to provide Application Maintenance and Support to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co (Bank One) Brokerage Dealer Support Services (BDSS) for all of its applications.
The scope of the project will be determined by the JPMC team as the project commences. The requirement is to carry out PSR-DSR development of BDSS Applications. This project will be executed on a T&M basis and the actual work to be carried out will be provided by the JPMC project manager.
