Raytheon Missile Systems - Tucson, AZ - 1985-PRESENT
PROGRAM MANAGER
- Provided efficient performance in managing design effort to devise a modified AIM-9X missile with environmental sensors to record temperature, stress, acceleration and pressure data for use on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF)
- Perform numerous tasks related to Cost Account Management (CAM); held accountable for resenting design reviews, maintaining schedule, defining requirements, understanding hardware limitations, coordinating regular meetings, and collaborating with various customer
- Engaged in managing structural analysis, flight certification, released drawings, integration efforts, and delivery of three completed assets and all released documentaion to be used on the Joint Strike Fighter Aircraft
- Worked collaboratively with vendors and designed modifications to handle a more extreme temperature environment due to the acquisition of another two assets for the F-22 Aircraft
- Supervised more than 20 employees working on F-22 ($3 million) and JSF ($4 million) contracts
SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
- Updated and maintained Engineering Test Requirements Document (ETB) and Acceptance Test Requirements Document (ARD) for the missile level testing
- Worked collaboratively with Failure Review Boards (FRB) to determine cause of missile test failures and preventing future occurrences
- Coordinated necessary surveillance activities based on contract requirements and reliability evaluation needs

- Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for testing on the AIM-9X Sidewinder Missile at the Final Assembly and Check-Out (FACO) facility; transitioned missile level test process from developmental stage to a successful production test flow
- Utilized in-depth knowledge of test stations and software needed to run necessary tests and provided analysis of missile hardware; completed 6 sigma project and significantly reduced missile test time by 50 percent
- Developed test instructions for technicians and modified utilization of test equipment to perform special test requests to isolate problems and verify solutions
- Validated test stations with prove-in process to ensure compliance with production guidelines
- Coordinated reporting cycle times, test yield data, and reducing test times
INTEGRATION, TEST, AND ANALYSIS ENGINEER
- Authored and executed test procedures on engineering models to prepare for production on the redesigned AIM-9X Sidewinder missile
