2003 – Current- Rust Electric, Austin, TX- Project Manager/Estimator

• Supervise field employees and oversee jobs as Project Manager. Maintain inventory/ purchasing for various jobs and fleet vehicles. Coordinate with customers, general contractors, architects and other trades to bid/complete projects

• Project/field estimating and Sales. Create progress timelines and schedules to maintain accountability. Communicate with Vendors/Suppliers.

• Specialize in commercial construction, light industrial power/ controls, data centers, emergency generators.

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment including: planned maintenance, installation modifications, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical systems installation and temporary power installations.

• Perform a variety of tasks that require a high degree of manual and technical competency. Locate and identify electrical malfunctions using test equipment (3-phase monitors, harmonic meters, etc.).

• Install fixtures, wiring, conduits, motors, and other associated electrical equipment. Inspect circuits for special shielding and grounding. Install and service emergency power systems including generators, transfer switches, annunciators, panel boards, etc... Service and terminate live voltage equipment.

• Ability to read, understand and implement engineering drawings and technical literature, while ensuring to comply with the national electrical codes.

2002 - 2003 – Fox Service, Austin, TX- Apprentice Electrician/Estimator

• Assist journeyman as an apprentice

• Perform commercial service calls

Industry Skills

Operation and maintenance of a wide array of construction equipment from small motors to large machinery. General knowledge and technical experience with combustion engines and electric motors. Test, troubleshoot, analyze and correct malfunctions of electrical assemblies.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Manual and Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD). Proficient in interpreting mechanical and engineered drawings.
