Mechanical Engineer (Hardware Designer)

 Developed and designed product per customer specifications to include plastics, die cast aluminum, and sheet metal; accountable for designing housing for electrical components on a multi million dollar program; components for OEM radio, OnStar, and Honda and Toyota Telematics systems; exposure to plastic radio design for weight improvement. Resulted in deliverables being on time with design concepts, design reviews, and continuous improvement.

 Followed design, validate, build, and verify concept in product development; allowed upfront testing and validation for design integrity and approval before production phase of program.

 Worked with cross functional departments/ team members to insure further product development, meeting schedule deliveries and managing overall processes associated with hardware design.

 Worked outside of program team to help coworkers develop plan for continuous process flow on program that was behind schedule in order to meet customer build; resulted in procuring prototype material and coordinating shipments to assembly plant; build was completed on time for customer delivery.
