Conceived, designed, and implemented social networking site listkeeper.org from the ground up, using Apache, PHP 5, MySQL, and the JS Prototype library. Instituted standard design rules using site-wide CSS standards. Designed and built custom PHP classes and libraries using the principles of Object Oriented Programming. Designed and implemented custom login engine, as well as a custom list sharing and friend invitation engine. Set up and administered custom sandbox server in Ubuntu environment.
Technical Project Manager Clubessential, LLC, Cincinnati, OH 9/2007 -- Present
Supported all company workstations, managing hardware and software installations and trouble tickets both in Windows and Linux. Handled all client and corporate email deliverability issues with all major ISPs. Managed a Barracuda Model 600 Anti-spam/anti-virus appliance, as well as over 400 email clients using IPSwitch Imail server. Administered a Debian-based Postfix environment with custom logging to a SQL Server for special email projects. Managed new websites and website go-lives in IIS 6, as well as over 900 websites in company webfarm. Handled all DNS records, domain registrations, renewals and transfers. Participated in web development projects utilizing VB.NET within a Telerik environment.

Designed, coded, debugged, and delivered a custom text-parsing application that translates files from a mainframe-type word processor (COMPOS) to XML format. As sole programmer involved in the project, I designed the entire process under the direct supervision of my employer. Programmed the application using Visual Basic, a language I taught myself how to use.

Ran project-critical searches on the internet and at the US Patent Office in Washington DC. Responsible for ensuring that none of the company's R&D projects were in danger of infringing on existing patents. Charged with keeping abreast of then current research relating to e-inks (electric inks), RFID tags, and micro- and nano-electromechanical systems. At one point, my research revealed an existing patent by a competitor that conflicted with one of the company's major R&D projects, likely saving the company millions of dollars in research and development, as well as in possible legal fees.

Responsible for all aspects of Network (LAN) installation and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring Multiplatform (Windows and MacOS) PC Workstation network connectivity. Answered trouble calls from all over campus. Dealt with TCP/IP, network sniffing, UNIX (VAX) mainframes, and network topology and design including Class A, B and C IP addresses and netmasks.
