Extursion Saw Operator

• Use information from work order to determine which type of metal and which type of saw to run.

• Set-up and operate a saw to produce parts used to assemble racks for Electronics Packaging System.

• Inspect parts from the saw to ensure correct measurement and tolerances of the blueprints are met.

• Assist other operators when cutting heavy gauge steel or extra long pieces of aluminum material.

Balancer/Material Handler

• Balance the elements of the batteries making sure the positive and negative grids are aligned evenly between the separators.

• Check the grids and separators for damage and check straps for lead over-runs.

• Ensure the correct polarity of the elements inside the battery; negative strap to positive strap and positive strap to negative strap.

• Use the proper PPE to avoid high blood lead level, exposure to high lead level can cause health problems.
