OBJECTIVE
A position that will utilize my skills and work experience with a diverse group of people.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Arts degree, Weber State University, Ogden, Utah, December 2006. Majored in Psychology with a minor in English.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
TEAM WORK:
-Volunteer for the Weber State Division I hockey club - assisted with stats and acted as team liaison for visiting teams during 2003-2005. Also, assisted in uploading/inputting the stats on the ACHA website after each home game.
-Promoted to lead stockman at Wal-Mart - prepared schedules, responsible for work completion on shifts, and communication between stockmen and management.
-As volunteer - set goals with companions, and reported results to supervisor.
-Work flexible hours to help remodel apartments for new tenants. Including switching out old electrical plugs and switches, doorknobs and hinges, removing old carpet and taping up for painting, and painting.
CREATIVITY:
-Created a spreadsheet of contacts for a small construction company so that it could be sorted by name, occupation, etc.
-Worked in a group setting to create tri-fold brochures and presentations. Used ideas to create and enhance the brochure content and appearance.
-Assembled a cookbook for fellow volunteers to use.
-Create picture slideshows on the computer for family and friends.
DIVERSITY/INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS:
-Served a two-year volunteer LDS Mission to Yekaterinburg, Russia. Learned to appreciate diversity and embrace different cultures.
-Fluent in Russian.
