More than twenty four years of experience for development of chemical pesticide and organic pesticide formulations such as Slow Release Encapsulated Granules, Suspension Concentrate, Soluble Liquid, Soluble Powder, Wettable powder and Water Dispersible Granules. Development of organic plant growth regulators in EC and SP form. Development of quality control methods and identification/ analysis of physico-chemical properties of organic/chemical pesticide formulations. Analytical method development for marker compound in natural products, chemical pesticides and intermediates. Isolation and purification of high pure compounds (95 to 99% pure), to used as reference standard for natural products and chemical pesticides.

Bio-assay guided isolation and purification of marker compounds from plant origin, development of extraction process for plant materials, preparation of their formulations, standard operating procedures and technology transfer for commercial production.

Standardized composition of more than ten newer eco-friendly bio-pesticide formulations in the form of soluble powders, encapsulated granules, emulsifiable concentrates, soluble liquids. Standardized composition of thirty five pesticide formulations, identified raw material specifications, quality control procedures and transferred technology to factory.

Developed immunoassay method for aflatoxin determination (up to 1 ppb level), in neem oil, neem seed extract, neem cake and animal feed. (Presented three papers out of this research work in World Neem Conference 2002, 2007 and National Conference on Eco-friendly Approaches during 2008).

Participated in a collaborative study conducted by Association of American Pesticide Control Officials under the purview of EPA for method validation of two newer pesticides. The analytical error was lowest across the world among 31 participating laboratories.

Developed Azadirachtin residue analysis method for Rice, Sugarcane & Coconut and presented the same in World Neem Conference during 2002 and 2007.

Developed preparative HPLC methods for preparation of 95 to 98% pure reference standard of Azadirachtin A, Azadirachtin B and Vasicine.

Validated HPLC method for Azadirachtin analysis in Neem Based EC formulation as per “Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), Australia”, guidelines.

Developed HPLC method for Azadirachtin analysis in Neem Based EC formulation as per FAO guidelines. The method has been accepted by CIPAC.

Generated Physico-chemical property and shelf-life study data for bio-pesticide Granular and emulsifiable formulations as per Central Insecticide Board requirement.

Maintained sophisticated instruments like FTIR, GC, HPLC, HPTLC, UV, Freeze Drier, High speed centrifuge, rotary evaporator, K.F. Titrator, pH meter etc with minimum break down.

Streamlined internal audit process for ISO 9001:2000 systems at R&D as Controller of Internal Audit (CIA) and established standard operating procedures as per ISO requirements.
