1. 2005 to Present: EHS Civilian Government Contractor

- Contractor: SSHO on Roi-Namur .. the Reagan Test Site in the Marshall Islands, South Pacific

• 2011 - 2012 The Vernadero Group, Alexandria, VA, Client: Defense Logistic Agency at Ft Belvoir

- Contractor: ESOH Safety Specialist to support 360º V.P.P. OSHA Challenge and HASP.

- Contractor: QA-Safety Engineer during of construction of The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA

- Contractor to Utah Workman’s Comp to investigate 3rd party claim related files

- Advised companies on EPA, OSHA, DOT and other related compliance issues.

• 2008 Consolidated Contractors Co Int’l, Abu Dhabi, UAE Client: Madagascar Gov’t

- Temporary EHS&S Advisor hired to mobilize along with a team of six other Project Managers. Project: A 180 mile long nickel-slurry pipeline.

• 2005 – 2006 URS Inc., Salt Lake City, UT Client: The Department of Defense

- Temporary hire as SSHO at Mustard Agent Project in Utah’s Western Desert.

Project: Retro-fit two earthen igloos into a high tech QC Mustard Agent sampling facility

• 2005 Taylor International, Las Vegas, NV Client: The Sands Investment Group

- Temporary Employee/Contractor as Safety Manager (2nd Shift)

Project: A 65-story addition to the Venetian Hotel, the Guggenheim Theater, 1.5M sq/ft addition to the Sands Convention Center, a Dinner-Theater, and up-scale shopping Palazzo and Food-Court..

3. EH&S Adult Education and Training

Six years of involvement in EHS Adult Education as an Instructor, Trainer and Program Manager.

• 1992 – 1999 Salt Lake Community College, Program Manager, Environmental Training Center

- Founded the ETC to deliver non-credit EH&S training in response to community need. .

- Organized and delivered hundreds of workshops and seminar

- Designed the original curriculums and taught original credit courses in ENVT Program.

Enjoined the College as an original Consortium Member in Western PETE

Accomplishment: Enjoined the College in several Consortium relationships for both the non-credit training as well as for development of curriculums in the A.S. Degree of Environmental Technology.

4. Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Emergency Response

• 1991 – 1992 Jack B Kelly Trucking, Wood Cross, UT

- Original Incident Commander of the Environmental Action Team . .

• 1991 Utah Department of Public Safety, State Dept. of Investigations: Trooper

- Legislature moves Motor-carrier Investigations to Utah Highway Patrol, Dept. of Public Safety.

• 1989 – 1991 Utah Department of Commerce

- Motor-Carrier Investigator and Principle Hazardous Materials Officer

• 1988 - 1989 Utah Dept. of Corrections

- Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor assigned to Maximum Security Facility Utah State Prison

- Researched and designed fifty-two weekly lessons in Alcohol and Substance Abuse .

Accomplishment: The Biblio-Therapy program was recognized as a “First Of It’s Kind” in the U.S. and recommended by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons as a model throughout the Nation.

• 1972 – 1988 Sheriff’s Deputy Salt Lake County, Utah

- Correctional Officer for the first two years then graduated Utah Police Academy

- Experienced Emergency Responder, Accident and Incident Investigation, Crises Management, Handling Difficult Individuals (Hostage Negotiation), and Incident Command and Control.

5. U.S. Military Reservist (Army, National Guard and U.S. Air Force)

- Completed Airborne Training and S.F. Academy

- US Air Force – first Reservist to attend the Law Enforcement Supervisor Course at Lackland AFB

- Environmental Compliance Officer, Unit Health and Safety Officer

6. Residential Remodeling & Construction

- Design, draft and manage all phases of custom home construction

- Licensed Framing Contractor

- Renovate and remodel numerous homes as hobbyist and part-time employment
