Conduct various wet chemistry analysis, including fat (Mojonomier Method), loss on drying, moisture, etc). Adhere to SOP’s and document all calculations in clear, concise format for GLP. Conducted catalyst preparation research utilizing an innovative, yet simple and cost effective method currently characterized as SEA. The process involves dissolving a Palladium salt and anchoring the metal on alumina, creating a catalyst commonly used in the production of petrochemicals. The pH and metal concentrations were monitored to find the ideal conditions for an optimal adsorption. The analysis of the sample allowed me to utilize various laboratory instruments including electron microscopy, ICP, and x-ray diffraction. The final report included images from the electron microscope and various graphs of the data acquired.
