Notable Accomplishments

- Played a key role (Quality) in the manufacturing of

o 1 ph- 333MVA, 1150/400/33 kV Power Transformer which is going to be

installed at Bina Sub station, Madhya Pradesh, the Highest Voltage

which is going to be installed at International level.

o 1 ph-GSU, 82 MVA, 15/420kV Power Transformer which was successfully

tested at KEMA, Netherlands for full range Dynamic short circuit

test.

o 3 ph- 50 MVA, 132/33 kV, 3ph-25MVA 220/11kV, which were

successfully tested at CPRI, Bangalore for full range Dynamic short

circuit test.

- Successfully passed the CSWIP 3.0 certified by the TWI, Malaysia, Visual

welding inspector (Level I).

- Successfully passed the Non Destructive Testing by CSWIP certification by

the TWI, Malaysia; CSWIP Radiographic Interpretation;

Previous Work Experience

Paper Insulated Copper conductor (PICC)/ CTC Conductor Quality, A team of

two, with lead as me,worked on the PICC of distribution level and focused

to develop to the EHV Class and were successful in it. Now the bulk of the

PICC are taken from the In-House of Vijai Electricals Ltd.

Incoming Material Quality, Worked as Engineer (Quality) in incoming

material inspection and handled successfully. In this Period my roles and

responsibilities are to clear the Items both customized and standard

products with Quality/ accurately. Handled Vendor assessment, Third party

Inspections and guided the sub ordinates related to the quality of the

product/specifications and now they are successfully leading the activities

of Incoming material quality

Insulation Material Quality, Worked as Quality Engineer in the developing

the In-house work shop, supplying few of the material to the bulk of the

production and thus eliminating the purchase of the material from outside

supplies. Examples are Collars, Press board Cylinders, winding components

(duct pieces, pillows etc).

Fabrication Quality, Worked as Quality Control Engineer (fabrication).The

activities that are done in the process are handling the inspections,

inspections of Transformer Tanks, accessories, Clamping structures,

Pressure tests, Vacuum tests etc are is successful.

- All the Quality related aspects of Extra High Voltage Power Transformers

at Core Assembly, Core Coil Assembly, Vapour Phase Drying and Wet

Servicing.

- All the jobs ranging from 3- 25 MVA, 132kV class to 3- 315 MVA, 400kV

class.

- Assemblies like Conventional & Bell Type Manufacturing.

- Application of SQC tools.

- Design drawings studying and explaining them to team and making a plan

to produce the transformer with Zero defects right at the first time.

- To participate in design review meetings and give suggestions for

better drawings.

- To timely update the check sheets for better quality.

- To take up assignments(technical/ Non technical) from our HOD and

complete the same with out any delay

- Striving for the Elimination of non-conformance products during the

Manufacturing process.

- Conduct the Root Cause analysis in case of Failure and take preventive

measures for the same.

- Prepare for the conducting Audits as per the Scheduled time and give

the feedback to Management Representative

- As key User for the Quality Module in ERP (Enterprise Resource

Planning) update the data related to Quality and resolve the issues
