Role: Software Developer

XeoMed is the first and only dynamic medical management software application. XeoMed seeks to revolutionize the practice of medicine with its intuitive, dynamic and user-friendly interface. The application contains programmed medical and business logic that will facilitate the practice of medicine, reduce medical errors and help medical offices become paperless. XeoMed incorporates the powerful object-model programming at its core and provides a high degree of reusability and efficiency. XeoMed is highly customizable, features user- and task- centricity, and is highly adaptive to the changing business and medical requirements of the healthcare provider.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for website and web application backend development, high-level analysis and performance tuning, documentation of specifications, implementations and deployment, integration, and testing across multiple environments.

• Duties include writing, refactoring code in the application, working closely with the other teammates to seamlessly integrate the components they develop into the main application, assisting in daily support, and helping with related tasks.

The Internal Banking Application System was aimed at automating Hume Bank’s internal banking transaction processes. The application allowed the Bank’s administration to add new employees and accounts to the database, and gave permissions to employees to withdraw, deposit, check balances and transfer funds using their salary accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for client interfacing, project effort estimation, leading the development team and ensuring good quality application development by adhering to software quality processes.

• Extensively communicated with the client to understand the functional requirements and business process flow.

• Involved in the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) from analysis, design and development until implementation.

The purpose of this project was to develop a B2B site for Relizon, which are a leading manufacturer and retailer of legal documents. The website would let authorized customers to buy items off the main Relizon B2B site.

Daimler Chrysler (DC-Germany) is one of the world’s most trusted automotive companies with its product portfolio ranging from small cars to sports cars and luxury sedans; and from versatile vans to heavy duty trucks or comfortable coaches. DCAGMPCI is an enhancements and support project in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing for Market Performance Center (MPC), which keeps an entire inventory of the vehicles, of Daimler Chrysler.

• Mentored junior developer’s, provided technical guidance and motivated them to meet the tight deadlines at DCG.

• Migrated a poorly performing and outdated database application from Sybase to DB2 using the IBM Migration Toolkit (IBM MTK).

• Debugged and reviewed the stored procedures migrated by other team members.

• Prepared documentation to maintain checklists for the migrated stored procedures, and used VSS for document version control.

• Tested the functionality of the migrated stored procedures using SQL.

Role: Account Manager (Techno-commercial profile)

The prime revenue-building systems of Reliance’s Telecommunication Network are its Wireless Adjunct Systems such as the Short Messaging System Centre (SMSC), and its Wireless Network PCMCIA Cards (R-Connect Cards). I have been an active team member of Reliance’s core decision making technology group which involves end-to-end ownership of these chosen technologies, their implementation, operation and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Involved actively in negotiations between Reliance and various vendors for the procurement of the mentioned technologies.

• Tested various hardware permutation and combinations to reach the apt hardware solution for a particular application.

• Performed complete Network Impact and Financial-Cost analysis for all these applications.

• Involved actively in the procurement, inventory management and testing, and final deployment of the wireless applications and wireless data cards. I was the prime one-point contact for the complete management of these cards and handsets.

I was a part of this project till the completion of its Phase-1 trial.
