● Improved product search relevance and conversion for retailers on Dynamics 365 Commerce, building the indexing and query

services that deliver faceted browse, autosuggest, and ranked results from one index shared by online storefronts and in-

store checkout terminals.

● Shipped Store Operations Copilot to enterprise retail customers, letting store staff check stock, look up policy, and close out

daily tasks by asking one question instead of moving through four systems; built on Azure OpenAI with retrieval-augmented

search.

● Launched Virtual Appointments for retail stores, cutting manual scheduling work by roughly 40% and giving sales staff a

customer's full history in one place before every appointment.

● Built the weather and billing services for Azure FarmBeats from scratch as independent microservices, with audit logging,

dashboards, and synthetic monitoring so failures surfaced before customers reported them.

● Mentored six junior engineers and interns, led design reviews, and carried production on-call for services the team owned.

Software Development Engineer I, Expedia Group Gurugram, India May 2019 – Mar 2021

● Built coupon targeting by location and customer segment across Expedia.com flights, packages, and activities, so marketing

could discount a chosen audience instead of the whole site and stop paying for bookings customers would have made

anyway (Java, React, Kotlin, GraphQL).

● Wrote load and failure tests modeled on production traffic to catch capacity limits before peak travel season, and built a

serverless job that tracked batch file processing end to end.

Software Engineer, Bounce Bengaluru, India Oct 2018 – May 2019

● Rebuilt the payment system from scratch after finding security flaws in the existing one, taking checkout from failing daily to

stable across four providers (Paytm, RazorPay, PhonePe, LazyPay).

● Automated identity verification using image recognition, reaching 80% accuracy without manual review; monthly bookings

grew from 3,000 to 17,000 over the following months.
