EXPERIENCE

Founding Product Engineer Apr 2026 – Sep 2026

Pathways

– Owned product engineering — ideation, prototyping, roadmap definition, specification, and hands-on implementation.

– Bridged technical constraints and product direction, working with stakeholders to shape what got built and why.

– Designed and used custom Cursor agent workflows to move from ambiguous product requirements to working software, while retaining ownership of architecture, implementation decisions, and quality.

– Promoted into this role after two years embedded in consequential product and architecture decisions. Founding Frontend Engineer Mar 2024 – Apr 2026

Pathways

– Joined when the platform had a single customer — built and owned the React codebase from scratch as it scaled to hundreds.

– Made every frontend architectural decision from day one, establishing patterns, abstractions, and conventions that stayed clean and extensible through rapid growth.

– Built bespoke interfaces for editing and visualizing deeply nested, domain-specific data — UI problems with no obvious template.

– Used agent-driven workflows to deliver complex frontend features while preserving a cohesive, intentionally designed React architecture.

Senior Frontend Engineer May 2021 – Mar 2024

TalentReef

– Brought in as the React authority — trained and mentored 10+ engineers across 4 teams in modern React, performance, accessibility, testing, and code craft.

– Established the tech stack and bootstrap project that became the foundation for greenfield work (TypeScript, Next.js, React Query, Jest, React Testing Library).

– Spearheaded 4 ground-up application launches across 7 codebases; partnered with Design and Product on a Figma-based design system pipeline.

Software Engineer Nov 2018 – May 2021

Beatport

– Progressed from mid-level to leading and mentoring a team of 3 over two years at one of the web’s largest music platforms.

– Contributed to a custom React/Next.js UI library, the primary e-commerce site (millions of weekly users), a sister storefront, and two CMS applications.

– Prototyped and shipped the platform’s most-requested feature — “download all” with complex async multi-file polling; also built streaming audio queues and drag-and-drop layout tooling. Web Developer Oct 2017 – Nov 2018

Agency Zero

– Served as sole technical employee across development, infrastructure, and product for 10+ client sites. EDUCATION
