Worked in the packing area where I learned and was trained in specialized packing and preservation techniques, methods, and procedures. Also, I was trained to properly suspend or strategically place an item within the container and build containers around items being packed. Completes the packing process by certifying all requirements that are needed, such as addressing, marking, labeling and computer screen processing. Because of my flexibility, I was placed in the east bulk which specialized in receiving, pick mission tickets, packing, re-warehousing and replenishing stock, research material data, stows, Physical inventory, and E tickets (material for immediate release). Trained to load and unload tugs which have material for transport or stow. Able to identify problems and correct discrepancies through running the reports needed. Have workable knowledge of several computer systems, some of those being excel, Microsoft word and power point. Function well in a variety of different environments, which comes from working in both the main building and out in the bulk areas. Submit daily reports of my personal production detailing the amounts of stows, re-warehousing, picks and packs I have completed. Also responsible for the upkeep of the MHE as well as the overall appearance of the warehouse. This includes emptying dumpster and removing trash from locations and aisles. Responsible for loading and unloading tugs and transporter lines. Uses Radio Frequency (RF)handheld to determine picks. Prepare documents by priority or by what must be pulled in the area with emergency picks done immediately. My work may involve the use of many different tools such as tape dispensers, stapling and banding machines and strapping tools. Stencils, labels, and places other identifying markings on containers. Because of my ability to do work as a distribution process worker, able to interpret specifications and instructions without more than normal supervision and communicate effectively orally and in writing to my superiors. Having a vast knowledge of packing practices and materials I use these when preparing the proper document preparation for (NSN's) National Stock Number for shipment. In performing my duties and functions I have acquired knowledge of various automated system DSS. These systems help in the troubleshooting and data collection process used when trying to relocate or research a specific NSN. The automated system DSS has many inquiry screens which I use in identifying and solving discrepancies in receipts, stows, packs and picks.

Worked in the Containerization Consolidation Point (CCP), I performed receiving, unloading, loading, and processing incoming shipments reporting over, short, or damaged conditions. Unloaded materials and freight from other depots and ordered supply companies. Performed document review to verify all shipments and materials by bill of lading. Visually and physically examine a variety of incoming materials. Using a forklift, I assembled items into groups based on information shown on the receiving vouchers and segregate materials according to such factors as condition, type of transaction, or property class and route appropriate processing lines, transportation control number, stock, quantity, weight, cube, priority and other codes describing material. Processed ccp material by checking, breakdown, and inputting data into the DSS System. Collect data for the supply distribution by the use distribution standard system (DSS) and mobile cart. These computer systems are used to process receipts, identify and work discrepancies in receipts. Perform inquiries to resolve receipt problems and to identify materials and match materials by national stock numbers, part numbers, sms/bsm, ECT. Trained and perform breakdown of items and materials of United Parcel Service, Federal Express and General Service Administrative that are received at (CCP) in tri-walls. Segregated small items and materials to our upstairs processors and processed large materials as well. Ensured that hazardous materials are segregated and taken to the area for staging. Load material on trailers to be shipped to our hazardous warehouse. All other items or materials are palletized, strapped down for security to be transported by our cart system. All over-sized items and materials are processed and transported by tugs to either Aloc (Air Lines of Communication) or surface locations for shipping. This keeps our material flow going while more shipments arrive for unloading and processing. Document preparation is performed including conduct studies to manage the workflow. I am trained on the proper operations of the following material handling equipment (MHE), swing mast, forklift, manual pallet hand trucks, tractors and tugs in warehouses and can perform routine operator maintenance. The following duties performed were selecting, storing, stacking, palletizing materials and freight based on their use, size, shape, quantity and contamination. Picked, packed, and re-warehoused selected items and materials at customer’s request. Reviewed shipping documents for information such as destination, priority, and weight, using this information to determine if, the package should be shipped by Federal Express (Fed-ex), United Parcel Service (UPS), or air/ freight carrier. I pack and repack a variety of items for shipments utilizing a wide variety of standard packing materials, methods, techniques, and procedures. Distribution Standard System (DSS) and Radio Frequency Handheld Device (RF) for a variety of warehouse and supply procedures. These systems were used to stow materials, identify and work discrepancies in picks, receipts, pre-pack, packs, stows and keep track of the work in progress. Work independently to keep track of material, and better service the customers. Analyze the workload data and make recommendations on how to keep focus. Assisted in help make sure material accountability and accurate physical inventory counts. Performed inventory audits of stock to meet established time frames when needed. Completed inventories and investigating and resolving inventory balance discrepancies and identifying development needs to staff and supporting growth as a professional growth with the team. Communicated with space management, stock surveillance when need is contacted for stock arrangements when needed. Check physical inventory and analyze inventory for correct quantities. Used inventory analysis to break down inventory into different sections. Organize my work effectively and with efficient to ensure all tasks were completed in a timely manner. Used different fact-finding skills in order to track material and decide how to handle the situation. Work with people daily that has various attitudes. Because I work with customers with many problems and attitudes it has enabled me to deal with a variety of people using my oral and written communication, to resolve their complaints. When planning my course of action, strategic focus is used to ascertain my goals. Performed in-depth research and causative analysis of major discrepancies determined because of inventories, denials, letter of investigation and report survey. Discussed with Leaders and Supply Technician personnel when dealing with causatively factors are identified and system-oriented problems. Also have the knowledge of procurement and production to get the material available on the QBD so the warfighter can order material.
