Abstract:

My MS thesis extensively investigated flow past a rectangular cylinder using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) at Re= 150 and varying aspect ratios (AR) from 0.2 to 5. The LBM captured fluid-structure interactions, revealing flow transitions, wake modes and forces. Results were presented through vorticity visuals, drag/lift histories and parameter variations, shedding light on the complex dynamics MSc Mathematics (16 years education)
