● During the school semester (Late August-December, Late January-Early May) for UNT, I assist professors in teaching their courses in lectures, labs, and maintaining records of student attendance and grades. ● I worked here part time during the school year as a bartender, where I checked IDs, made drink orders, worked security shifts, and handled cash at the end of every night for tip outs. I also worked as a barback as needed. We were responsible for restocking supplies between shifts, and also cleaning duties.

● I worked here during the rush season to prepare for the beginning of school, and worked there until around the beginning of November, because it was a temporary position.

● I delivered cookies for Insomnia Cookies for about two years. My only responsibilities here were to deliver cookies and provide good customer service to those who ordered!
AVAILABILITY
For the remainder of the summer, I am fully available to work any day of the week, at any time! The next school year starts for the University of North Texas in late August, which is when my schedule begins to change. EDUCATION
University of North Texas, Denton, TX - Master in Fine Arts August 2023- Present
I am currently in the Masters program at UNT for Documentary Production and Studies and am on track to graduate the program in May 2026! I take graduate level courses during the school year ( Late August-December, January- Early May) and also work as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate courses during those periods. As a teaching assistant. I work with students at the University to improve their skills and knowledge of the field so they can better their skills, and so that they may have better future career opportunities. As a student, I take mostly late afternoon and night classes while producing short documentaries as yearly projects. I’ve recently completed my first year project titled Generations of Love (2024), which is a short documentary about the experience of growing up in Denton Texas as a woman. I interviewed the four generations of women in my family who have all been born in Denton, and raised their families here!
University of North Texas, Denton, TX - Bachelor of Media Arts August 2018 - December 2021
I completed my undergraduate degree with the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, under the Media Arts program. I studied the history of technology and broadcast, as well as the current state and future of the industry. I learned how to use various models of professional camera recording equipment, as well as recording for sound. I also became knowledgeable in using Adobe editing software here and have access to such programs today for personal projects. I also have a minor in French from the University of North Texas which I completed during my time here, and took several classes with the honors program. I’m going back to study in the Documentary Production and Studies MFA Program this fall! AWARDS
