WORK EXPERIENCE
AYUMI SUMITOMO As of October 8, 2026
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I have approximately eight years of experience in front-end development and the development of websites, web services, and business systems. I started my career in web design and later expanded into front-end engineering. My experience includes web application development using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, as well as UI/UX design and API integration. I have also worked on back-end development with Python and Go and on cloud environment setup using AWS, handling work from requirements clarification and design through implementation, testing, deployment, release, and post-release improvements. In Unity/C# game development, I implemented in-game behavior and state transitions, including character movement and jumping.
In AI, I contributed as the front-end developer on a three-person team building Scoutless, a recruitment SaaS using generative AI and RPA, from initial planning through launch. I also worked on an AI proof of concept using LLM and OCR to assess whether quasi-drug ingredients complied with standards by comparing PDF specifications and related documents. At Brain Technologies, I have supported QA for Natural AI Phone through testing, defect verification, and documentation. This combination of product development and quality assurance is one of my strengths. I also prepare technical documentation, design documents, test specifications, and manuals, and can handle document preparation, data organization, aggregation, comparison, and checking using Excel and Word. My Excel experience includes VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, PivotTables, and VBA. I am comfortable learning the technologies and knowledge required for a project and contributing from planning and development through testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
