Project Description: This project focuses on migrating Munich Re’s Workers Compensation insurance platform from Insurity to the Microsoft Power Platform. The solution leverages Model-driven Power Apps as the front end and Dataverse as the backend, enriched with JavaScript customizations, Power Automate flows, PCF controls, and plugins to deliver enterprise-grade functionality.

The scope covers both Policy and Claims modules:

Policy Module: Enables transactions such as endorsements, final audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and more.

Claims Module: Supports claim creation, payment processing (non-gateway), and other core claims management features.

The project integrates custom pages, Power BI dashboards, SharePoint connectors, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for large-scale data migration and reporting. An archival process was implemented using Azure Data Lake, allowing historical policies to be stored and retrieved into Dataverse on demand.

The solution also incorporates Dataverse security roles, field-level security, solution management, monitoring, and testing frameworks to ensure compliance, scalability, and reliability.
