Install & Operations Technician Samsung Austin Semiconductor — Austin, TX Feb 2026 – Aug 2026

–Maintained and repaired heated foreline and exhaust systems transporting etch and deposition byproducts throughout the facilities subfab (FSF).

–Diagnosed and replaced failed heat trace, thermocouples, and thermal insulation; troubleshot fuse and control faults on heater jacket controller (HJC) boxes, often through full HJC replacement.

–Cleared faults on 1–2 tools per shift with a 2–3 person crew, returning tools to production without escalation.

Install & Operations Technician Intel — Hillsboro, OR and Chandler, AZ Jun 2024 – Oct 2025

–Assembled and installed etch and CVD deposition tools on a one-tool-per-1.5 week cadence with a 5–6 person crew.

–Executed helium leak checks and hydrostatic verification on process gas and process cooling water (PCW) lines prior to tool qualification; zero safety incidents and zero leak-related rework across all installs.

Onsite Service Engineer I Samsung Austin Semiconductor — Austin, TX Mar 2023 – Jul 2023

–Performed preventive maintenance on gas abatement units serving etch and deposition tools, at about 1 unit per shift, clearing dry and wet corrosive powder buildup from chambers and returning units to service.

–Inspected, reported, and replaced damaged components each PM cycle, keeping abatement systems available for continuous safe processing of tool exhaust.

APPLIED MATERIALS

–Tested and assembled Metal Deposition Products (MDP) chambers, including Endura platform builds, for shipment to fab customers.

–Executed tool assembly and troubleshooting from test scripts: gas and water leak testing, and install/removal of gas lines, water lines, power cables, and large magnets.

–Performed electrical continuity checks with digital multimeters prior to chamber sign-off.

–Contributed to the site twice breaking its record for most chambers shipped in a quarter.
