Sole bartender responsible for serving food and beverages, as well as cleaning up not only the bar, but the entire dining area.

Responsible for balancing the till and closing the bar up, including setting the alarms.

Increased alcohol sales by 22% over the course of a 3-month period of time.

Oversaw much of the logistics, and personally participated in physically moving the various restaurant’s tables, chairs, glassware, cutlery, etc. into position.

Recruited several friends with experience in the industry, as well as approximately one-third of the University of Nevada’s 2009-2010 cheerleading team to help staff these 4 brand new businesses.

Worked with the head chef to develop the different menus and organized staff tasting events to not only familiarize staff with the items on the menu, but to gain additional feedback as to what should be adopted, altered or removed from the menus.

Trained both experienced and new hire bartenders and servers on company best practices, including but not limited to:

oUtilizing the companies POS system.

oHow to gracefully escorting customers to their tables.

oEnsure servers circle back within 3 minutes of their food being delivered.

oEmphasized the need to maintaining a positive attitude and avoiding informal conversations with the customers.

oReinforcing that there is always something that can be done, whether that be inspecting the dining room for a fork on the ground, preparing cutlery, polishing glasses, etc.
