I am writing to express my interest in a Draftsman position within your organization. With a strong
foundation in technical drawing, event design, and 3D visualisation, I bring a combination of creativity and practical execution that allows ideas to be transformed into well-structured, functional designs.
Over the past two years, I have gained hands-on experience in the entertainment industry, working with Glen21 Entertainment and later joining Zuri Studio. In these roles, I was responsible for set and stage design, exhibition stand design, site planning, and event visualisation. I also developed technical build specifications, furniture layouts, and health and safety plans for events. This experience strengthened my ability to manage projects from concept through to completion while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
In addition to my design background, I have two years of management experience in the hospitality industry and worked as both a barista and head barista. These roles enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills—qualities that I consistently apply in my technical work environment.
I hold a Matric certificate from Masikhanyise High School and have completed a one-year End-User Computing course at i-College. I am proficient in planning layouts, maintaining health and safety standards, and collaborating effectively within a team. I am also fluent in English and Xhosa, allowing me to communicate clearly in diverse environments.
