OBJECTIVE: To obtain a position in an outpatient environment. My Associate education is in physical science, and my BS is in psychological science which makes me an excellent candidate for this important position. I am interested in pursuing an avenue of employment which allows me to be in contact with the people of all ethical, social and physical backgrounds. This will allow me to use the excellent communication, clinical and people skills that have been a hallmark of my working career. Present - 2024

Physical Therapy: INTERIM HOME HEALTH CARE

I am presently working as a PRN PTA on a team with other physical, occupational and nursing professionals to provide treatment to patients in their home environment that demonstrate disorders of musculoskeletal deficiencies, neurological conditions, balance disorders and transfer/gait deficits.

Physical Therapy: TOTAL HOME HEALTH

I am presently working on a team with other therapist’s and nurses in a home health care environment patient load consisting of 8-10 visits per week. The experience has allowed me to establish relationships with patients and families which has resulted in overall better wellness outcomes for all involved.

2015-2020

Physical Therapy: SELECT REHAB

I have worked in the skilled nursing environment as a PTA for 5+ years with the geriatric population treating, educating and improving functional mobility to return home and improve their quality of life.

SKILLS/ACTIVITIES/INTERESTS

I am part of the group of volunteers for the Rape Crisis Unit for St. Jude House. I have completed my initial training and completed the intensive training part in June 2007.

I have worked for the American Red Cross in Portland Oregon on the Disaster Relief Team.

These volunteers were the ones called upon day or night to respond to families/individuals who lost their homes to fire. I worked as an intern at Portland Providence Hospital with severely disabled children and was in trusted to care for them. I have worked in many facets from outpatient to long term care and am able to work under pressure. I am a reliable, honest, eager to learn, multi-tasking individual who enjoys working with a team of people who are the same. I am loyal to the company that I work for and responsible about company policy and procedure. I am interested in learning about new ways to encourage individuals to live their best life while achieving the goal as well.
