Product/IP/Innovation – Subhajit was leading the IP led business wing of Happiest Minds technically Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The highlight of his achievements is briefed below. While Subhajit has done some ADM projects during the stay, it is the IP or Solution Innovation that covers the major effort.
mCaaS (Managed Cloud as A Service, yet to get the TM) - Cloud Delivery Solution which can work with any storage (RDBMS, Cloud Storage, File Storage, BigData, NoSql etc.) and can be hosted on any standard server run time. After digestion, any report can be done using AI which was not there initially. The most significant name in the clientele is Forrester who is using this for their Re-Print division as well as Research division and Case Study division. Initially the solution was hosted as vanilla Azure, then it was refactored to IBM Bluemix (now defunct), only to be curved back to GCP.
dCOB™ - A digital Customer on Boarding Platform (Web/Mobile, Workflow, Analytics, Social Digest and Recommendation Engine) for industries like BFSI (where last mile handshake may not be required) and CPG/DTH/Market Place (where end point handshake is required). AI related technologies like TensorFlow, Open CV, DLib, NLTK, Keras etc.
dPӓ – An intelligent chat bot and payment (in fact, all financial transaction) thru social media. The platform sits on top of
Hyperledger Fabric which makes the platform a P2P Payment Platform where a lender can lend and a borrower can borrow after agreeing to a tenure and interest rate. The app can be downloaded from Playstore.
dSCM – Blockchain based platform for Supply Chain Management for non-repudiation of Quantity and Quality aspects. While most of the application technically is same as dPӓ, but the UX is for a SCM Quality assurance. From manufacturing unit to distribution center to retail outlet – everywhere the UX will force you to enter the details which will be written in Blockchain, ensuring overall quality ownership in a read-only database, i.e., Blockchain.

Cloud Delivery & Product Innovation (Umbrella Role) – Subhajit has managed two different roles in his last two years stint in Wipro Technologies (2011 June to 2013 June). Subhajit worked as a senior architect of a group which looks after delivery and fulfillment of Cloud projects and responsible for delivery of cloud projects (AWS/Force.com/Open Cloud Stack) in his organization. Subhajit has built a practice of nearly fifty (50) people from scratch. While Subhajit is working as a practice builder and program manager, he also got involved at technical level as architect for Redhat OpenShift and AWS Cloud. Subhajit has also worked in “productization” of Application Modernization space. Subhajit has championed a product idea of automating application migration (including legacy modernization) and already has one product waiting for patent which is named Host Transformation Solution (HTS). While commissioned as an Eclipse based tool which would automatically migrate applications from any JDK to a higher version with click of a button taking care of company specific custom way of coding and design, the solution is now extended to take care of Struts to Spring, DB2 schema to Oracle schema, ESQL to NRL and other area hitherto thought of as impossible go.
Enterprise Security Solution cum Productization Management (Umbrella Role) – Worked as Enterprise security architect and Program Management for Novartis AG, Airbus, Rockwell Collins etc. IDAM, OWASP/Ethical Hacking, Compliance like PCI, Security Consulting et. al. He has managed both as technical architect and as team builder.
Identity and Access Management Implementation for Novartis AG– Worked as Enterprise security architect for Novartis AG. The scope of the project includes creating the foundation of Oracle Identity and Access Management and onboarding different applications now running in Novartis by creating a uniform authentication and authorization paradigm within the organization. All internal and external facing applications are to be re-engineered to use the newly implemented solution. Additionally, all applications are made to be compliant with top 10 OWASP vulnerabilities.
Security Remediation Project – Worked as Enterprise security architect for American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). The scope of the project includes making the existing applications OWASP compliant (on Top three). ABS is a not-for-profit semi government organization responsible for maintaining several compliances in shipping industry. One of the most important being design compliance for ships with strict security norm. The web application needed to be completely hack proof as there may be interested party to hack into the system to compromise different aspects of ship design. All aspects of Enterprise Security like Data Security, Application Security and Data at rest Security had to be implemented with most strict control in place.
• WPCI Productization – This is the project to productize Wipro’s solution on PCI DSS space. In plain terms, this involves providing a solution/product to make sure Credit Card and other private data are safe as per PCI Compliance. SOA (Program Level Involvement) – Worked as a SOA Consultant and Solution Architect. His Responsibility was manifold, including SOA COC (Center of Competence) setup, responding to RFP, general consulting and so on. On the hard-core development side, he helped the teams with troubleshooting and fire fighting in core service-oriented tech problems. Client include Zions Bank, Hutchison Essar, GM, Nissan, Boeing, Citi.
Due Diligence (Screen Replacement Program) – Citigroup Canada markets a product called UNITRAX which is sold to Fund companies on a hosted model as well as licensing model. The solution is hosted on i-Series, the development language used is Power House (a Cognos product on sunset now) and database is DB2/AS400. The project is on Rewrite Paradigm (Legacy Modernization) and IBM EGL will be used as a development platform, a RAD based 4GL capable of generating Java based or COBOL based deployment for open system and mainframe/midrange respectively.
Web Service Exposition/NWI – To facilitate integration between different insurance agents, Nationwide direct shops and many internal organizations, a web service was commissioned to gather data from various internal data stores and provide a single point of access.
XP Orientation of 3 Scape Application (Level 3) – The application does the customer side provisioning of the Service Activation part for a core networking company, Level 3. The scope includes understanding the application, making a testing strategy and automation.

Enterprise System for Telecom (Sprint) – Application Lead of development team supporting three different applications. Sprint is one of the leading telecom companies in the US and has several websites for information, billing disputes etc. The team is supporting those applications in enhancement/maintenance mode.
Refactoring of Retail Planning Software (Evant) – Module Lead of development team in complete XP practice. The product EMP (Enterprise Merchandising Product) and EIM (Enterprise Information Management) together provide best of breed solutions in the Retail domain. HG for Apple Computers (USA): Subhajit worked as Module leader for Hunter-Gatherer (HG) report module in the project Voyager. Apple computers use various methods to attract potential buyers; giving discount coupons through the net, calling them and giving some gifts are a few of them. The method is web based and any hit corresponds to a group of records in the DataMart. Oracle Report 6i is at the heart of this small project and the team handled all design and operation issues with Oracle Report for which the client was not having any prior idea. This effort involved a three- month deputation in London. The London office was closed and the entire development work was shifted to Bangalore.

CAMR for Apple Computers: Subhajit worked as Module leader for “Customer Account Management and Reporting” for Apple Computers. Apple has various web-based applications by which customers can buy specific products, a different shaped mouse or a photo editor on Mac OS. The system already existed. This is an enhancement project. With the help of this system, various information about a customer, direct or reseller can be obtained. This information is stored by various other applications which are not covered. Once the data is there, top management can query through the browser. In addition to that, top management can request for some reports which can be delivered to their mailbox directly using Vitria. It is a typical MIS report for top management. Depending on these reports, the management can think about giving some sort of discounts or promotional offers on some products.

CATS for AETNA US Healthcare: Subhajit worked as Module leader for middleware module of CATS (Complaints and Appeals Tracking System). As an insurance company, Aetna needs to track and act on all claims/complaints on a priority basis. This is a web-based system through which specialists make entry of claims/complaints and it is moved up the chain to the corresponding departments using configured Workflow. This is a zero-failure system, i.e. all errors are taken care of internally and the user always sees the “All Correct” view using MQ Series. As this system was developed, the other two old systems (one CICS solution and one through job feed) were in operation. MQSeries is used to update those data to the database directly. MQWorkflow is used to automate the workflow of this highly critical tracking system governed by US LAW.
GUIDE for AETNA (USA): Module leader for AETNA GUIDE project. As an insurance company, AETNA needs to collect demographic and historical data. These are used for calculating premiums etc. for a given plan. This project presents an interface to existing modules for calculating premium etc. There is another interface which allows AETNA users to enter demographic/historic data as obtained from various research teams.
