Underwood Memorial Hospital - Served as Head of Operations in the IT Department of Underwood Memorial Hospital, managing the Help Desk and the Computer Technicians. Responsible for the creation of policies and procedures for both groups. Performed HIPPA compliance of the Nursing staff. Responsible for NJ State compliance of patient information as well as long term storage. Also responsible for the back up and storage of patient information and the back up and maintenance of our AS400 mainframe system used for our Clinical Software.
Inspira Medical Center - Served as Senior Technical Support. I was the sole support for our Elmer Hospital as well as a Family Practice, the Elmer OutPatient Rehabilitation Center and Elmer Women's Center. Responsible for the setup, deployment and maintenance/troubleshooting of all computer equipment, telephones (including personal smart phones), printers, telecommunication equipment, the setup and connection of network equipment and for the troubleshooting of the Network equipment of Elmer Hospital as well as the other facilities listed above. Also responsible for initial troubleshooting some medical equipment. Worked from home and did 24/7 on call.
