Starting from a solid engineering background, I have been working for 17 years for companies involved in various business areas like Production, Engineering and Construction. Vast experience and knowledge of MEP projects and verify the design and coordination drawings and other site activities for project like Airports,, Etihad Rail, Infrastructure, Electrical overhead transmission line, substation of 132kV to 11kV, ELV systems, Control & instrumentation for projects like mixed use buildings, commercial building, residential buildings, industrial projects, warehouses, workshops, hospitals projects, etc. Liaison and coordination with authorities like ADDC power, ADWEA, Transco, Etisalat/DU, Civil defence for NOCs, shop drawing approvals, Inspection and final approvals.

Developing and maintaining construction schedules in MS Project.

Working with civil construction manager and sub-contractors to develop four weeks ahead work schedules as per project control work schedule.

Leading the project team and ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and conformance with design documents.

Assist the project executive in working with all departments including estimating scheduling, procurement, labor relations, finance, accounting and other services required. The goal is to achieve an integrated team approach.

Coordinate and integrate the activities of all the assistant project managers, project engineers and other support staff on the project.

Establish priorities for the project staff based on owner and project requirements.

Regularly liaise with client and consultant engineer for design confirmation and site work progress.

Strictly follow site safety requirements and conduct, attend site HSE meeting.

Conducts monthly project/client meetings to review project progress and the following issues: Current cost projections/change orders issued to date, anticipated “pending” costs, schedule update, requisition review, highlight near term major activities, any other issues deemed appropriate should also be addressed in this meeting.

Verify the project meet the green building selection and sustainability compliance as per estidama and LEED requirement stipulated by UPC.

Performing quality and constructability reviews of design documents.

Ensuring that installation of electrical, and ELV systems is in accordance with plans, approved drawings, approved method statement and specifications.

Writing RFIs and developing sketches for clarification of design documents or to request direction on field conditions.

Arrange coordinating meeting with sub-contractor, supplier like BMS, Fire alarm, control panel supplier, actuator supplier to perform the works properly.

Verify completed works by the codes and standards.

Follow and make sure the electrical works as per RSB regulations, Firefighting, fire alarm, emergency lights and voice evacuation works are as per the UAE civil defence code of conduct.

Developing and maintaining equipment / system start-up sequencing schedule

Work with contractors to develop start-up procedures and oversee equipment/system start-up

Taking the lead role in working with the TAB contractor to balance air and water systems

Work with BMS and controls contractor to complete functional testing.

Developing and/or executing commissioning documents.

Developing Electrical Punchlist and eradicate for final approval.
