About Me:
I have been semi-retired since January 2025, I am drawing social security but as of July 2026 I have been looking for work, needing to get back into the workforce. Prior to that I took on the role of being a Caregiver for my mother who was diagnosed with cancer, additionally I acted as a caretaker watching over my mother’s property after she passed away.
I am currently looking for employment as a driver of vehicles that would only require a regular Class C license, driving Class C type vehicles.
I have worked as a driver since 1979. I have held a CDL-A commercial drivers license since 1990 and stopped driving CDL-A type trucks in 2024. I still hold that license, but the medical card that goes with it is currently inactive. I have no desire to renew it to continue CDL-A type driving after 34 years behind the wheel of this classification of trucks. I am absolutely done with working as CDL-A driver.
With all my years of driving experience I have a very good knowledge of San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and
Imperial Counties. Along with making deliveries in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. I have been involved in training new drivers throughout my career.
I have experience over the years prior to getting my CDL-A license driving various types of vehicles, ranging from pick up trucks, to small and large vans and Bobtail trucks both large and small. I am comfortable driving any vehicle on the road.
As a driver I have always understood the need to deliver a customer’s order to them in a safe and timely manner. I have always been customer service oriented and I do understand the importance of building a rapport with customers along with having a problem-solving mindset. Finally I believe in integrity as a person.
What you would get with me as an employee is a person who wants to work, who while older has a lot of experience as a driver and takes pride in getting the job done.
