The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) undertook the construction of Booster Station 171 project in West Kuwait, Kuwait.

The project envisaged the construction of three high and low pressure gas trains to produce 6.62 million m3 of dry gas per day and 69,000 barrels per day of condensate. It included the construction of a gas dehydration unit, a liquid dehydration unit, tank vapor centrifugal compressor at three gathering centers, pumping units and the installation of three low pressure compressors, high pressure compressor and turbine drivers. It also covered a pipline network extending from gathering centers 16, 17, 27 and 28 to BS 171. The new BS 171 will produce 234 MMSCFP of gas and 69 million BPD of condensate. Four Gathering Centers (17, 27, 28 and the new GC 16) will supply BS 171 with gas.
