Anesthesia Technician 2000 – Present

• Provide comprehensive technical support to anesthesiologists and anesthesia providers in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center.

• Prepare equipment and assist with arterial lines, central lines, quad-lumen lines, and other invasive monitoring procedures.

• Support difficult-airway management, fiberoptic procedures, double-lumen tube placement, TAP blocks, nerve blocks, and other specialized anesthesia procedures.

• Perform anesthesia machine checks, equipment diagnostics, routine preventive maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting to maintain procedure readiness.

• Prepare and operate Rapid Infuser systems and set up ultrasound equipment, GlideScopes, anesthesia scopes, airway devices, and trauma equipment.

• Maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, inventory, and Pyxis par levels to ensure consistent availability throughout surgical and procedural areas.

• Provide anesthesia support throughout Cardiac Services, the Cath Lab, Hybrid OR, TAVR, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, MRI, Oncology, Labor & Delivery, and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

• Support complex cardiovascular, trauma, pediatric, and other high-acuity procedures while responding quickly to changing clinical and equipment needs.
