Vietnamese Sentiment Classification (Naïve Bayes + Sentiment Lexicon) Nov 2025
• Built a Vietnamese sentiment classification pipeline combining traditional Naïve Bayes with a self-built Viet- namese Sentiment Lexicon (VSL), scored via TF-IDF mean and Naïve Bayes log-odds weighting.
• Proposed VSL-NB and Hybrid NB (BoW+VSL, TF-IDF+VSL) models to reduce dependency on large labeled datasets compared to traditional Naïve Bayes.
• Achieved 86.0% accuracy with Traditional NB and 83.6% accuracy with Hybrid NB (BoW+VSL) on a 200,000- sample dataset (Kaggle: linhlpv, phuocthanhngo).
