I have 15 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering: Planning, developing technical specifications, equipment selection, developing line diagrams, designing and providing engineering support during tender administration, implementation, construction, installation, commissioning and maintenance and also implementation of energy management and conservation initiatives. I have worked in sugar industry, food, chemical and currently healthcare as Principal Electrical Engineer and Head of Electrical Engineering at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. I am a member of Kenya Bureau of Standard-KEBS/TC 091 Electrical Installation and Distribution Systems Technical Committee and was a member of Board of Management of St. Charles Lwanga Secondary School-Nyamkebe. I have also mentored seven (7) graduate engineers to attain registration as professional engineer and corporate membership of Institution of Engineers of Kenya, IEK. Propose and design electrical project and upgrade in the hospital.
To ensure proper running and optimum operation of all electrical equipment in the Institution.
Co-ordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance of all electrical / instruments equipment to ensure that downtime is minimized.
Ensure that power from Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) is within acceptable voltage and frequency.
