Duties December 2009 to June 2011:
As Central Processing Facility Manager I oversee all aspects of daily in and out-processing operations for military and civilian personnel IAW AE 612-1, USAREUR Regulations and the SOFA Agreement to ensure procedures are followed in accordance with established regulatory guidance.
Assist and provide guidance to staff members as necessary and assist as needed for operations to run smoothly. Assign to staff members different tasks in order to reach the organizational goals.
Maintain security requirements in accordance with U.S. Army Regulations, USAREUR regulations, and Host Nation Regulations. I analyze day to day flow of customers and adjust manning to accommodate and extend expedited service to the community.
I manage staff members’ performance report, personnel files, time and attendance.
I monitor the implementation of risk mitigation and supervise the composite risk management process for all operations.
Report and submit work orders to maintain building conditions (heat/air) within regulatory guidance; submit work orders for all equipment
and facility repairs.
I established an office key log and key box in order to maintain keys secured and controlled.
Organized the CPF Hand Receipt finding items, relocating, and inventory in the property book.
March 2008-December 2009:
Serve as the US Army Garrison-Vicenza Passport and Visa Specialist with specialized experience and knowledge of the specific procedures unique to Italy in the provisions of U.S. and international law, treaties, rules and regulations. Responsible for the examination, processing and adjudication of applications pertaining to birth, identity and citizenship matters concerning passports. Specialized knowledge in the provisions that govern entitlement to diplomatic, official, no-fee and tourist passports in regular and exceptional cases. Specialized knowledge in the agreements with other countries pertaining to the entitlement of passport provisions. Expertise in the provisions of immigration and naturalization laws and regulations covering legal entry into the United States, residency, and other requirements as they apply to acquiring and retaining U.S. citizenship. Volunteer for the Vicenza ACS as a member of the Translator and Interpreter Program (TIPS) and volunteer as an instructor for the Army Family Team Building Program (AFTB).
