Dear Hiring Committee,
I am writing to express my interest in a faculty position at your chiropractic college. As a Doctor of Chiropractic with more than 35 years of clinical experience, I am excited about the opportunity to share my knowledge and help educate the next generation of chiropractors.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing patient-centered, evidence-informed chiropractic care while continually expanding my knowledge and skills. My experience includes treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients on health, wellness, and injury prevention. In addition to my work with human patients, I am also certified in animal chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA), giving me a unique perspective on biomechanics and spinal health across species.
After practicing in Quebec for more than 30 years, I relocated to Florida in 2021, where I continue to practice chiropractic while expanding into regenerative therapies, including StemWave. These experiences have reinforced my belief that exceptional chiropractic education combines a strong scientific foundation with hands-on clinical training and compassionate patient care.
Teaching has always been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Whether mentoring interns, educating patients, or collaborating with colleagues, I enjoy helping others develop confidence, critical thinking, and clinical excellence. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your institution through classroom instruction, laboratory teaching, clinical supervision, curriculum development, and student mentorship.
I believe my extensive clinical background, enthusiasm for lifelong learning, and commitment to the chiropractic profession would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your faculty. I would be honored to discuss how my experience aligns with your program's mission and goals.
Thank you for considering my application. I appreciate your time and look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Michele Morissette, D.C., C.A.C.
