- Examined how wage differences, labor-market conditions, and state minimum-wage policies relate to interstate migration in the United States.
- Constructed a state-year panel dataset combining migration flows, wage measures, income, demographic variables, labor-force indicators, and regional price parities.
- Estimated two-way fixed-effects regressions with state and year effects and considered hetero- geneous migration responses across age groups.
- Conducted data cleaning, model estimation, visualization, and written interpretation using R, Stata, and LATEX.
2025–2026 Population Aging and Regional Economic Welfare University of Minnesota Independent empirical research project.
- Studied relationships among population aging, state savings behavior, income growth, labor- force participation, and regional economic welfare.
- Developed a balanced panel of U.S. states covering approximately 2008–2023.
- Estimated two-way fixed-effects models using age-group population shares and controls for income and labor-force participation.
- Used regional price parities to account for differences in purchasing power and cost of living across states.
