Director of Programs — Grantmaking, Business Technical Assistance & Community Investment 2023 – Present

Philanthropic portfolio management: Design, administer, and report on 15+ concurrent city- and state-funded grant programs — managing fundholder relationships, grant agreements, eligibility determinations, and compliance reporting simultaneously across a high-volume portfolio.

Funder & community engagement: Serve as primary relationship manager for foundation, city, and state funding partners — including the City of Saint Paul and the Metropolitan Council — translating community needs into funding proposals and translating funder priorities back to community applicants.

Grantmaking program design: Designed and led the East 7th Street Construction Mitigation Program — built 30+ individualized grant agreements, eligibility checklists, and plain-language guidance materials to connect immigrant small business owners with capital access during active corridor construction.

Audit & compliance infrastructure: Rebuilt a revolving loan fund's audit infrastructure from the ground up — built the full audit binder, consulting scope of work, and board briefing that closed documentation gaps and gave the board and funders a clear, trustworthy risk picture for the first time.
