Academic and Clinical Activities:

• I have been actively participating with Dr. Abdallah Al-Rabeeah team for separation of conjoined twins.

• Cord Blood Stem Cells: I have a collaborative work with Dr. Dunia Jawdat, a director of the Stem Cells Cord Blood Bank at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center in Riyadh, for conducting a state-of-the-art clinical research.

• In Vitro Fertilization: I have a distinctive interest in the outcome of children conceived by In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) through a considerable cooperation with the IVF department.

• Supervising several groups of medical students for conducting their graduation research projects.

• Developing the “Neurodevelopmental Program” which is a multidisciplinary follow up program for the high-risk NICU graduates that covers a wide range of future age groups, including infancy, preschool and school-age periods (3 months - to -12 years). Moreover, the patients’ data are linked to SPSS program to facilitate an effective statistical analysis.

• I have a wide range of experience and skills in using the updated version of “SPSS” program, which is a professional program in medical statistics.

• Involved as a director in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) since year 2000.

• Involved in many undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs including fellows joining the neonatal-perinatal fellowship program at both KSAU and KAMC - Riyadh

• Involved as a presenter and moderator in many local and national medical conferences.

• Involved in several departmental/hospital committees at King Abdulaziz Medical City Riyadh, KSA.
