PROJECTS
Custom Handheld Potentiostat NJIT Life Sciences Lab - Newark, NJ September 2025 – May 2026
Engineered a fully portable, battery-powered electrochemical analyzer utilizing a Raspberry Pi 3 B (SBC) to execute on-board data processing for a full suite of analytical methods (Cyclic Voltammetry, Chronoamperometry, DPV, SWV).
Integrated a physical touchscreen display and developed a Graphical User Interface (GUI), allowing laboratory researchers to configure test parameters and visualize complex data in real-time without an external workstation.
Designed a custom PCB via Altium Designer to interface external ADC/DAC ICs via SPI/I2C communication, developing a multi-railed power supply and signal conditioning filters to mitigate pump noise in flow reactor environments.
Manufactured a custom 3D printed handheld enclosure using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring tight component tolerances to securely house the touchscreen, SBC, and battery array.
Verified measurement accuracy and system stability through LTSpice circuit simulations and comparative baseline testing against commercial benchtop potentiostats.
Linux Homelab - Proxmox VE May 2025 - Current
Orchestrated a virtualized Linux node running Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS, utilizing Docker Engine to containerize a secure, SSO-protected application stack including Nextcloud and Dashy
Architected a zero-trust network perimeter utilizing Headscale (Tailscale-based VPN), restricting Proxmox hypervisor access and locking SSH administration behind cryptographic keys to eliminate unauthorized network exposure.
Engineered a custom bridge network, configuring Nginx Proxy Manager and Authentik SSO for SSL termination and centralized authentication.
Resolved complex internal routing faults during an ISP network migration, including NAT hairpinning bypasses and API shielding conflicts
Deployed Prometheus and Grafana dashboards for real-time telemetry, alongside Network UPS Tools (NUT) and a battery backup system to monitor live power statistics and ensure infrastructure stability
Containerized a custom 3D biomechanical physics simulator built with Three.js, integrating the Google Gemini 2.5-flash API for live clinical analysis of peak displacement and force telemetry
Developed and documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for DNS caching resolutions and Docker lifecycle management to streamline network troubleshooting.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Network & Infrastructure Engineer – The New Gretna Store, NJ June 2024 – Current
